  • Monday with(out) McCormick - Monday, March 17th @3 pm McCormick's office at 417 Lackawanna Ave, Scranton, PA (Wear green for Dave's favorite thing: Money).  Meet at DVA! Center at 1:30 and join carpools. Sponsor: Action Together NEPA

  • A visit to the offices of Sen. Fetterman and Rep. Bresnahan in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Friday, March 21, 2025 . Leaving Milford at 9 am from Key Foods, returning from Wilkes-Barre at 3pm.  Sponsor: Pike County Democratic Committee.

  • "No-Show Town Hall," Sunday, March 23rd 4-6 pm, Delaware Township Municipal building, 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingman's Ferry.  Sponsor: Delaware Valley Action!

  • March on Washington (and everywhere) - April 5th On The grassroots group 50501 Movement called for People's Veto Day actions across the US – and they (50/50/1) will be anchoring the march in Washington, D.C. - Sponsors Women's March and 50501.

In 2025 we face an existential election for the future of democracy.  We will focus on issues of concern to residents of Pike County, PA and on electing progressives in line with our values to local, state and national positions.

Get involved with DVA! Attend our monthly Get-Togethers (generally 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30 pm) at the new DVA! Community Engagement Center at 315 Broad Street in Milford.  Visit our Facebook Page, subscribe to our weekly newsletter (below). Donate. Volunteer in vote-by-mail voter registrations and campaign activities. Fill out our volunteer application to get started.

Community Engagement Center: We now have a year-round space in downtown Milford for community activities. A number of clubs (youth group, art, book, mahjong, knitting/crochet, drum circle, ukulele, etc) on weekdays. See the Community Center page link at the bottom of this page for a description of the Center and how you can help.  Click here for a local TV story about the new Center.  The Center is currently open for drop-in Friday 12:30-3 pm.
