On June 14, at 7pm, join us at the DVA! Community Engagement Center for our Ice Cream/ Watch Party! Together we can watch Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment — an uplifting evening of music, community, and action. Hosted by the Committee for the First Amendment (CFA), this special livestream event will feature an all-star lineup including Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Rufus Wainwright, Joy Reid, Wilson Cruz, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more.
Together, we’ll celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment — including the freedoms of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest — and the people power that protects them. Communities just like ours all across the country will be gathering for similar watch parties.
Join us to sing along, connect with neighbors, eat ice cream, and celebrate the power we build when we come together. Whether you’re a longtime activist or brand new to the movement, you’re invited to an evening of joy, inspiration, and collective action in support of democracy and freedom.

DVA! Community Engagement Center,

In 2026 we face an existential election for the future of democracy. We will focus on issues of concern to residents of Pike County, PA and on electing progressives in line with our values to local, state and national positions.
In addition, all of the candidates endorsed by DVA! won their positions in the 2026 Primary Election--the wave is coming. We hope you will consider running for a local position in 2027.
Get involved with DVA! Attend our monthly Get-Togethers (generally 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30 pm) at the new DVA! Community Engagement Center at 315 Broad Street in Milford. Visit our Facebook Page, subscribe to our weekly newsletter (below). Donate. Volunteer in vote-by-mail voter registrations and campaign activities. Fill out our volunteer application to get started.
Community Engagement Center: We have a year-round space in downtown Milford for community activities. We have a Free Store for early parenting supplies (diapers, wipes, etc.). A number of clubs (youth group, art, book, mahjong, knitting/crochet, drum circle, chess, ukulele, etc) on weekdays. See the Community Center page link at the bottom of this page for a description of the Center and how you can help. Click here for a local TV story about the DVA! Center. In addition to the clubs' schedule, the Center is currently open for drop-in Friday 12:30-3 pm.
