Countering hate and alt-right groups in rural America Matt Hildreth, Executive Director at RuralOrganizing.org joined our Feb 8th Get-Together and shared strategies on countering right-wing groups. Below is a recording of the Zoom event.

The RuralOrganizing.org team has developed strategies for organizing against the far-right in small-towns and rural communities. These include how to stay safe while being vocal, messaging techniques to inoculate against white nationalism, and how grassroots content and information campaigns can leverage trusted messengers and mediums to effectively inoculate communities’ local media infrastructure against authoritarian disinformation.
